Who we are

SBJ Consulting was founded in 2014, after founder Tanner Budde spent three years training under the direct leadership of the Stanley Brothers of Charlotte's Web. Starting a business fresh off prohibition takes fortitude — you have to be intelligent, courageous, improvisational, and tough. That's the standard we learned on.

We're operators, not just advisors. Tanner co-founded and ran Good Weed in Colorado Springs — a vertically integrated, no-till, small-batch operation that hit a $0.06 per gram production cost while running zero pesticides. When we tell you a system works, it's because we ran it on our own P&L first.

Fifteen years in, we've worked nearly every corner of the industry: production, post-harvest, compliance, inventory, distribution, and brand launches, across more than ten state markets.
